In my work, I'm interested in exploring wild and hidden territories and adopting organic themes to examine what's misunderstood or repressed. I'm looking into how forms can somehow change and transform from their original selves. I'm fascinated with haunting shapes observed in green spaces, such as forests, woods or local parks. The common land. Revealing the animism of dry and broken branches as they appear to be in motion, dancing, or ready to depart.

All the submitted pieces come from my recent series of work done on previously discarded artwork, adding layers and mixing techniques. Building up and joining the puzzles, hiding some elements, and underlining others.
Quick brushwork conveys a dream-like world punctuated with urgency and unease. I’m focusing on nature and landscape as a starting point, but allowing repetitive movement of mark-making to guide me.
