gallery37 residency

In 2021, Sylwia led the visual art programme at the Gallery37 Residency with Punch Records at Centrala.  Gallery37 is a creative development programme for 16-25 year olds based in Birmingham. 

Throughout the two week residency, Sylwia invited a guest artist each day to lead on a full day workshop, culminating into a final showcase at Centrala Gallery.

Monica was invited as a guest artist to lead on a full day workshop. For this, participants took a walk along the canal, and were invited to create assemblages responding to the local environment.
